The coolest new event at the World Ski and Snowboard Festival (other than the return of the Slush Cup) as Intersection, a new filmmaking challenge that set 5 crews out for the week before the fest to shoot/edit/produce the best action snow flick featuring skiers and snowboarders in the park, in bounds and local backcountry.
All the submissions were mind-blowing, films shot in april that looked like february.
All the videos were incredible, i’ll post as many as i can find. Voleurz won the event with humour, style and panache. Frequent Mountain Life contributor Nic Teichrob’s crew from Dendrite Studios wowed everyone with their soul and big mountain shooting. Nulife, Toy Soldiers and Peepshow/Videograss also came in with banging flicks but Ryan Kenny and the crew at Family Tree looked like they had more fun than everyone so i’m posting their vid first.
