Simulating survivors of a high mountain avalanche, Cody and Dave battle through waist-deep snow to get to lower elevations and possible rescue.
Watching Dual Survival could possibly save your life. At least that’s the intent of the show’s two awesome survival experts who traipse around in harsh environments trying to find thier way to safety using a few minor provisions. Cody Lundin, a minimalist and primitive skills expert, and Dave Canterbury, a military-style survival expert and professional hunting guide and tracker, whose fame was generated from YouTube survival videos. These two true-to-the-bone survivalists showcase thier contrasting wilderness survival skills, which often provide some good, and much-needed banter, when you need to eat worm soup to stay alive.

These guys can make a hammock out of one piece of bamboo, a canoe out of duct tape and branches, carry embers for miles in elephant poop and improvise the most lethal of weapons to kill critters for immediate sustenance. If you ever get lost in the woods, you’d want these guys to find you.

Cody and Dave wait out the worst of a rain shower using the old tarp that they also found at the abandoned still. When the weather clears a bit, they'll turn the tarp into the skin of their new raft that will let them use the river to make much faster time getting back to civilization.
I don’t have cable or watch much TV, but I get my Dual Survival fix at my brother’s place. This is reality TV actually worth watching. And nobody gets kicked off the show, unless of course they don’t make it back.
