The winner of the Arc’teryx Deep Winter Photo Challenge used to be called the ‘King of Storms’. Now they’ll have to change that to Queen of Storms, as Whistler shooter Robin O’Neill took home the trophy this year, knocking off 5 potential kings in the process.
This is the second slideshow win in a row for O’Neill, who won top honors at last summer’s Deep Summer mountain bike photo challenge. Although there was no sign of any storm whatsoever during the 3-day contest, all 6 photogs managed to entertain the crowd with a diverse and creative set of shows.
Congrats to Robin, second place finisher Jussi Grznar and 3rd place shooter, relative newcomer Reuben Krabbe.
