Slacklining and Madonna are not two words you’d ever expect to hear in the same sentence. But the two worlds collided recently (or should we say collaborated) as FiveTen athlete Andy Lewis stole a few scenes during Madonna’s multi-million dollar SuperBowl halftime show. He even got a live, on-stage peck on the cheek from the Material Girl herself before laying out a beautiful (and airy) bouncy backflip to end his sequence.
What I love best is that Andy showed up at one of Madonna’s high-class Manhattan parties in jeans and a t-shirt — he knew he didn’t ‘fit in’ and neither did he care. All he knows is that after seven years of perefecting his craft, to get on stage in front of 100 million+, to perform live with Madonna and to nail his segment, that’s what counts. Nice work Mr. Lewis, nice work.
