While the rest of us were busy collecting Easter eggs last weekend, Trevor Hunt was collecting vertical feet, sundrenched fall lines and some pretty damn good memories. Hunt teamed up with profesional mountain rider and talented filmmaker Darcy Turenne, who had her goggle vision firmly transfixed on finding nice light and letting Hunt ski through it. The pair slogged up through dripping wet mossy rocks to reach these undisclosed locations. When set to some rythmic music like this, they make it look easy, but of course it never is. Finding the right spot, setting up the gear, skinning up, looking for the details, keeping things dry, etc. Then more work behind the ‘ol box at home editing, splicing and dicing.
We first featured Hunt in our Feb. 2012 ‘Real Deal’ issue, where he talks about everything from guerilla peak bagging in India to the the future of jet-pack pow skiing.
