Rope Swinging = Cheap Summer Thrills

Rope swinging is probably the biggest bang for your buck when it comes to summer adrenalin. All you need is a rope and a lake to jump into and you and your friends can spend hours upon sun-drenched hours perfecting (or not) the ultimate backflip. There are dozens of rope swings set-up at all of the lakes in Whistler — some hard to get to, pretty secret and a little ways outta town, while many others are pretty well known. ( we’re not telling you exactly where though for fear that the muni will cut them down.) Keep it safe and we won’t have to worry about it though — double backflips are best attempted in the morning, before the afternoon beers kick in, and remeber to let go of the rope.

Look after our little slice of summer paradise and always respect where you are, the lakeshore is no place for empties and white plasctic bags.
