These vintage models should be put back into production at once. I know they still make them for summertime training for Nordic skiers, but they don’t look nearly as cool or burly as these ones. After the rise of cross-country skiing in the 1950′s, no snow was no longer a problem with the creation of these beauties. I think Whistler could use some of this old fashioned ski culture — why doesn’t someone start a race so we can laugh our asses off at people when they wipe out and get bloody knees?!

Seems like everything was done with better style back in the day anyways. Who needs a helmet when you never wipe out, even behind a motorcycle.
