Talk about strength in numbers. All these tiny droplets in the last few days have caused the rivers around the Sea to Sky to swell to paddle-able proportions once again. The watery abundance is tangible and very, very powerful, as you’ll see in this short by Mountain Life Media video artists Tim Loubier and Steve Rogers. The pair has some serious water credentials as both paddlers and filmmakers, and they do these rivers justice with plenty of wet eye candy to behold.
Soon the droplets will turn to ice crystals, the kayaks into skis, the faceshots from whitewater into white gold. Until then, you might as well go get wet.
Water was shot exclusively in the Whistler and Squamish area with Todd Wells, Brendan Wells, Martin Bradley Smith, William Griffith and Sam Rickets, by Steve Rogers and Tim Loubier on a Red Epic in 4K & 2K at 120-300fps.
